Mac users print problem w/ DIYLC

Hi, I create layouts with DIYLC on Mac mini M4 and only printer available is my Dad's one with his Intel iMac ! I cannot print a layout which is created on my newer updated version cause on my Dad's iMac has an older version od diylc. I changed diy file to pdf and tried to print that on Dad's printer but that didn't work either.
I would appreciate any kind of help cause it would be so convenient to just place the printed layout w/out components on the FR4 board start drilling.

I've never used DIYLC on my Mac, I'm wondering why the pdf did not print? On my PC the layout pdf files to seem to load the components individually as if it is layered?

Is there an option in the pdf software for you to convert the pdf to a jpeg or similar and it may work then

I use DIYLC exclusively on Mac, both with Intel based Mac mini and Apple silicon based Mac mini.   Printing works, though not always the most convenient, and you won't have as much control over printing as you would like. 

Are you saying that you can't connect to your Dad's printer?   If so, print to pdf and then print the pdf file on your dad's computer.  Maybe email the file to him.

I use DIYLC on a Mac (intel) and also have no problems printing.  Sounds like the different versions of the app aren't playing well together. 

Email to bancika the developer (sp?).  He always responds to me quickly (same day) when I've asked questions.  Give that a shot. Good luck.
