EL34's CNC Stuff
Back to main CNC page
I made four more finger joint CD/DVD boxes. This time I took it a step further and let the CNC machine cut out the box pieces and also cut a groove for the box bottom. They came out much cleaner than the first set of boxes. On the first set of boxes, I used a table saw to cut the 3" width of all the pieces and I used a router table to cut the .125" groove. I still used the router table to do a .125" roundover on all the box edges after the boxes were assembled.
See my first finger joint box page to see how the Finger joint CNC jig works.
