A very loose interpretation of Larry Carlton's "Cold, Cold"
All the guitars are the Ibanez Strat thru the Tweed Overdrive Special, 12AY7 in V1, 12AX7 in V2 w/ 1uf Ck, 1uf bypass on the 5879. 12AX7 LTPI.
Kleinulator in the effects loop, a little delay & verb in the Kleinulator's loop.
NO OD pedals, just the clean section, then OD on (both neck & bridge pups), then the OD (w/bridge pup only).
Amp controls not adjusted during recording, just adjustments to the guitar controls & switching pickups.

Geezer,
Man, that sounded great! I loved the OD tone you're getting! That is a VERY challenging tune to play and I thought your playing was excellent. Nice creative touch to it. The amp has a very touch sensitive feel to it (to my ears).
Thanks for sharing your continued success with the amp. Very cool!
Best regards, Tubenit

Man, there is something wrong with that site
Malwarebytes is blocking it saying possibly malicious.
The download button never does anything for me
The play button buffers forever at a very slow speed.
never did get it to play

Yeah, I hate those free hosting sites, but I don't know what else to do..........

That first site didn't work for me either.
Second was fine.
WoW!
Sounds wonderful!
Just ooozing with tone.
Well done!
Off topic, can I ask what you are using for drums?
Thanks for sharing that.

I took a standard drum track from Mixcraft that was 4/4, slowed it down to 50bpm, then switched it to 6/4 to get the right feel.
When you hear the drum track by itself, it sounds like John Bonham, since the drums have been slowed down (they originally ~~85bpm), really big & resonating.
I just tried it to see if it would work & I really liked the results.....just what I was looking for. The big resonating kick even gives the illusion that there is a bass guitar droning in there somewhere.

Yeah, your other link worked for me also.
Sounds great!!!

Thanks guys!
I'm coming up with new ideas for the rhythm track, so I think I'm going to be doing another version.
I was pressed for time on the recording, so it's not really perfect, but I'm happy with it for the 30 minutes or so I put into it.

That was my impression on the drums. Pretty cool.
Sounded great but I'll look forward to the improved version.
