Ok, I have most everything organized in the schematic library now except maybe things on the misc page that may need to be moved to another page.
I did not look at every schematic to see if it is named properly.
If a brand name had 5 or more schematics, it got it's own page.
Anyone that sees something out of place or something that needs to be moved or edited, please post back here.
Anyone that wants to add a schematic to the library, please follow the instructions at the bottom of the schematics library page.
Here's the link to the main schematics library index page

Well, how's the schematic library looking guys?
Looks good, like it's always been there. I have a lot of Magnatone schematics. It will take some time to convert to PDFs. I'll put it on the list. When I have them prepared I'll zip and send you an email.
-
So it seems that EL34 World has now superseded Schematic Heaven, not just for being available 24x7, but having more schematics.

excellent doug! :glasses9:
thanks so much for all that you do.
-
It's MASSIVE!
Do you want the word spread around?
Do you want other tube circuits beyond amplifiers?
Fantastic work. The internet is a better place because of you Mr. Hoffman.
Thanks!

Shrapnel, If the Laney stuff is not in the Library, I'll add it.
You would have to mail me a DVD data disk for that much data.
Ok, I made the buttons fall into a 3 column table.
See if this is better
Doug,
I think it does look better, and with little or no scrolling. :)
I can send you that DVD without a problem, other than there will be repeats within, and with what you already have, for all the schemos I have. (including three Earth tube amps.)
-
It's perfect. Thanks for all the hard work!!
-
Actyally, I could probably squeeze in one more column which would display all buttons without any scrolling???
-
That's exactly what I was thinking. Especially with today's wider monitors.
-
I changed it to four columns to see how it looks
Took a screen shot of the table squeezed down and cropped it to figure out how wide it was.
Looks like maybe 962 pixels wide????
I run big monitors set at 1650 or wider, but I am always thinking about people who still run 800 and 1024 resolutions
Anyone running lower pixel widths can report back if the screen looks horrible with 4 columns???

Hey Doug -
Here is a link to Carvin schems. I will let you decide how it should be handled.......

Just for info, look how different the schematics page looks in Firefox, Chrome and IE8

It's fantastic as far as I'm concerned! :hello2: Thank you!
PRR is absolutely right - put your catalog at the top of the page. You deserve it for providing this wonderful resource.
Cheers,
Chip

Thanks, I may do that later
I'm pretty slammed over here now.
Got an excavator machine outside digging for the next few days.
-
It looks great Doug , thanks for all the work you do here
Rock On
-
Thanks
-
Wow! What a task that is. Great job Doug.
-
Thanks.
I just added a new feature.
The file size in kb displays after the file link.
Pretty cool to know how big each file is.
Can be an indicator of the quality of the PDF file.
If the library has a schematic that is 500kb and you have the same schematic that is 900kb, look at both closely to see if your file is better quality.
You should submit your file after you have looked at both and made sure that yours is better quality.
-
Wow, outstanding! Huge THANKS for your generosity. Regards

That reminds me.... as soon as I get around to burning that DVD.... there'll be a few more :)
I'll send it to:

unless told otherwise.

Thanks guys
Yes, that is the correct address

Doug,
There's one Fender schematic that people occassionaly look for but just can't find. It came up just recently on your forum. The SF Twin Reverb with master volume but no boost switch. That particular schematic covers several Fender models, ie, Super Six Reverb, Vibrosonic Reverb, Dual Shoman Reverb, Quad Reverb, and Twin Reverb. But no one can ever find it.
Well, the good news is that schematic is in your new collection. But, the filename is 'fender_quadreverb_100w_nomstrvol.pdf'. Who would ever relate that filename to Twin Reverb?
I suggest you make a copy of that file but rename it to something more meaningful such as "twinreverb_sf_100_mv_noboost.pdf". Take a look and see what you think.
