Title: Vector graphics editing software?
Post by: Ritchie200 on October 20, 2010, 10:29:49 am
Anyone have any opinions/experience on any good free (hopefully!) vector graphics editing software?  Ideally this would run on my Mac.
Thanks!
Jim
edit: I do not need anything all that powerful.  I just want something to manipulate/modify a 2d line drawing and add text.

I highly recommend Inkscape. It's free AND open source.

Here's their tutorial on shapes/paths and text  http://inkscape.org/doc/advanced/tutorial-advanced.html

Thank you guys!  I will check it out.  I swear, we have the most awesome and vastly talented group of people on this site!  I could put up "looking for a left handed smoke shifter" and somebody would have an answer!

Thank you again,
Jim
