Title: 2 gigs with the New Boingo Band this weekend.

Hi Guys.

I'm playing with our new Boingo band, featuring Johnny Vatos, Sluggo Phipps and Carl Graves from the original Oingo Boingo. We also have MB Gordy on vibes and percussion, and he used to do transcripts and work for Frank Zappa. The band kills, and if anyone is nearby this weekend, we'll be at the Grove of Anaheim on Thursday Night and the 4th and B in San Diego on Saturday night. It'll be just like the old Halloween Boingo shows, only with new fresh hungry blood! Hope some of you can make it down. It's a big band, big sound and big fun!!!

I loved me some Oingo Boingo back in the day.  I saw them with Steel Pulse (a raggae band) back in 83ish....  What a horn section!

Yep, and the horn section now is just as ripping, if not more! I love that Gong show act. Back when they were the Mystic Knights. That's a young Danny Elfman on trombone and his brother Rick in the rocket. Bartek is on Flute and Sluggo, who's joining us in on sax. Gonna rock tonight!

It's cooler than the other side of the pillow that there's an Onigo Boing in 2010.  Have a great show.  Wish I was in Calif.  Hope ya'll play Running on a Treadmill.
