Title: Roland Jazz Chorus 120
Post by: punkykatt on November 16, 2010, 06:41:19 pm
Hello all, Got a Roland Jazz Chorus 120 on the bench. Had to do only minor repairs to get her running. One of the two speakers has a open voice coil. Can`t find any ID numbers anywhere on the speakers. All it says on the magnet is Roland ,heavy duty transducer , improved cone design for better damping effiecency, reliable fidelity at peak capacity, high sensitivity at max output. Made in Japan.  Can`t find much info on the net. Would anyone here know what would be a good /close to original replacement speaker?
Thanks  Punky

I would install a pair of Jensen ceramic MOD speakers and color it done.

Thanks TD, Should I get the 70 watt or go with the 110 watt?

I am thinking those are 12 inch speakers? According to Roland the amp is 60 + 60 Watts so go with the MOD12-70. Also the weight is half of the MOD12-110.

Thanks. I will inform the owner of those replacements.
