Title: Parallele FX loop
Post by: tubenit on November 26, 2010, 09:32:57 am
Guys, I need some help. I'm within a few hrs of finishing my FX-Reverb outboard unit.

All 3 of these schematics have been posted and claim to be a paralleled FX loop. Anyone know which of these is actually correct ........OR can provide another one that shows how to do it?

Thanks, Tubenit

#1 & #3 sure look like series loops to my eye based on the switch arrangement.  #2 might be a parallel loop but there's some odd local feedback going on.  Frankly, I think #2 is a mistake but could be wrong.

If you visit Loosechange's site, the FYD1 includes an effects loop which is switchable from parallel to series:

Link to schematic is there.  This is close to O'Connor's "best tube loop" from TUT1 IIRC.

Hope that helps,

Chip
