Since Mr. H offman does not sell them where do you guys get them from?

Thanks for teh reply.  I have ordered from them in the past and will likely do so again.  Are there any other suggestions out there?

I recently went thru this.  I had no experience with 5881 tubes, so I poked around and people seem to have good things to say about the Tung-Sol 5881s.  I like AES too but they don't carry Tung-Sols.  I ended up getting both a pair of 5881's and a NOS 5879 from thetubestore.com

I too have had good luck with AES. I did just buy eight 5879's on ebay from the vendor below and got them very fast. If for some reason you need matched pair, you can find the boxes of matched RCAs by/for tektronix -also like the ones below:
