Title: Reverb in VJ Hot Rod
Post by: TIMBO on December 31, 2010, 04:59:19 pm
Hi guy's, A quick question before i put the finishing touches to the VJ. The reverb sounds fine as is, I took some voltages and found that they are low on pin6 by changing the dropping resistor to a smaller one (220k) would make any difference. Thanks

I'm gonna suggest that you go for at least 140v-160v range on that plate. Maybe try a 150k/2.2k or 120k/1.8k

With respect, Tubenit

Thanks Tubenit the 120k/1.8k did the trick. sounds great! I'm now working on the feedback loop. Found a mod on the net (the billy gibbons effect) by adding a 3M resistor( the closest i've got is a 3M3 ) I need a switch but the shops are shut today so it will have to wait. Thanks
