Has anyone tried to use a wireless guitar system together with tube amps?
How does it work? Does it cause any disturbances?

Depends on what you mean. It will (or should) work fine, but it will change the sound because - as I understand it - the output impedance of the wireless unit will not be the same as a guitars, and because the wireless unit's output will be (probably) a resistive load instead of an inductive load. There are companies that sell 1:1 transformers to solve that problem, but I have no actual experience with them and so can't recommend one.

Some time ago, here in the forum, there was a discussion about the mod of an old tube radio receiver, into a guitar amp, at that time PRR (if I don't remember bad) give the council to restore the radio equipment and to build a little tube transmitter so the guitar will be connected to the amp wireless
don't know if the author of the tread do that
now is easy to buy a transmitter, but I agree with G._Hoffman about results, they can be nice, but sure different than those reached with a cable

I have used a wireless with mine and my brother has with his as well , what I noticed (and didn't care for) was it introduced a bit of distortion into the signal.

According to this web site, my man Lerxst uses Audio-Technica wireless gear:

I've tried a couple and they worked "better" than a cable you could say. It's hard to describe but I thought the signal was too clean or pristine or something and I didn't like it. I also didn't like the possibility of getting "hits" (random RF interference noises) while on stage, though those were pretty infrequent.
Anyway, I didn't like the sound so I went back to cables. In fact I want to buy a coiled cable to "mess up" my sound even more but the only ones I've come across so far are pretty short and pretty expensive. I still might use my wireless unit for soundcheck when I'm playing and running sound.
