Can I assume that the Climax was Geralds baby?
I've got a schematic but dont know that much about it... Any love out there?

The Climax was a mongrel with a fenderish clean channel, B-style, a lead channel and a power amp more or less based on the Trainwreck Express. Some were sold as Trainwreck amps, as Gerald Weber had some kind of agreement with the late Ken Fischer.
Ken got hold of one the amps, was quite surprised by what he saw, didn't like it at all and production ceased at his request. Remaining parts were used as the basis for the Kendrick New Joy Zee kit (still available AFAICT).
Some people like the Climax, but IMO it's only worthwhile anything is it's "Texas tea" tone control.

Saw one at a local guitar center and found the schematic hidden in the back of the cabinet..
Never got a chance to plug into it.. It was in a trainwreck cab..
