sluckey and anyone else using visio, Merlin just posted this site in another thread on tone stacks. I looked at it and noticed in the tool's section a large download of pre drawn layout parts is offered. Might be usefull.

Thanks Brad!
The "faceplates" file is GREAT. Number archs, various knobs & switches will all be very useful. There are lots of schematic symbols - that has been a bit of a roadblock for me in using Visio for schematics, but no more. Pre-drawn basic circuits also are really helpful.
Unfortunately, the small components like resistors and capacitors don't have leads or "connection points" which are kind of essential for use in developing layouts in Visio. Still, Adam's library is well worth downloading IMHO.
Cheers,
Chip

Seems OK with Firefox, no suspect files/scripts detected by my AV software.

Is OK in Chome.
I don't know the specific problem, but there are ways for hackers to "inject" code into pages (particularly editable pages like forums and blogs {Zugster is a blog or similar CMS back-end}. The intent is to make your browser do something to their benefit. Because MS IE is most popular (and often most vulnerable), most hacks aim at cracks in IE. Another factor is Zugster seems to be un-updated, may be lacking recent patches available for that blog software.
And because MS IE is so popular, I took the liberty of breaking the auto-link, until we have word that Zugster is clean.

There's a problem with IE, with a redirection to a Chinese site and some Active X crap trying to run plus a loaded cookie from hard-holderqz . rr . nu.

FYL - thanks for the guitar parts stencils!

I got it from reply 6. I did not even see it. The original link takes me here:

The path is changed
seems that now is
http://monster.partyhat.co/article/amplifier-diagram-libraries/assets/parts.zip (http://monster.partyhat.co/article/amplifier-diagram-libraries/assets/parts.zip)
http://monster.partyhat.co/article/amplifier-diagram-libraries/assets/parts-vdx.zip (http://monster.partyhat.co/article/amplifier-diagram-libraries/assets/parts-vdx.zip)
the page is here
http://monster.partyhat.co/article/amplifier-diagram-libraries/ (http://monster.partyhat.co/article/amplifier-diagram-libraries/)
On the link on post #6 there are guitar shapes for Visio that can be interesting also for amp layout
some pot and switch that can be copied and inserted on the library you use habitually
