Today I received the visit of a friend, he bring to me an old BIG SS head
at the first moment I told him I'll use it for spare parts and convert it to a tube amp
(a big one, as from the case dimensions)
then I've seen that the brand is a famous one, Peavey
the amp is a Booster so I have think it will be possible (after restoration) to use it as to boost a little tube bass amp.
What do you think about ?
must only restore the amp and use as booster ?
or the restoration is not convenient and must reuse the parts ?
add a tube amp inside as a "pre" ? (there is a lot of free space there)
where to find schematic, manuals and documentation ?
the only thing I've found is a 1 page sheet and some photo
thanks

Does it still work? If so, just use it as-is.
It looks awful familiar. Like I had one 30 years ago, dead, and I put a different amp in the same case.

Go to www.peavey.com, log on to their forum, and ask one of the friendly peavey folks for a schematic.

Thanks PRR & Sluckey

I think that amp was in a very humid place for some time, screws and metal corners are rust covered
however the total conditions seems give the possibility to restore it with good results
just till now I hadn't the time to try if it works
ask one of the friendly Peavey folks for a schematic.
yesterday I've sent to Peavey an e-mail
I'll look for the forum and try also to ask there
