I have an old Tube Screamer, one of the original TS-808 that a friend asked me to fix. It will switch on, but it takes sometimes 4 to 5 stomps to get it off. I have tested the switch, and it is ok, which leads me to believe it is the"flip-flop" circuit I have heard about. Does anyone know about these? I have only heard about it in passing and if I could identify it on the schematic I bet it would be an easy fix.
Thanks,
Doug

The flipflop is the two cross-coupled transistors (plus all the associated componets) on the bottom of this schematic...
