I got a chassis and faceplates from Tube Depot for JCM45. The chassis and faceplate together measure just over 1/8 inch. I also have the usual sort of amp pots that are sold by Alpha and CTS these days. Problem is the bushings are too short for 1/8 inch panel. The bushings just barely make it through the panel and I suppose you could cram a nut on, but there is no way to add a lockwasher, even a thin one. Is someone selling pots with longer bushings?
Or should I cut larger holes in the faceplate?

"Or should I cut larger holes in the faceplate?"
I had a Fender Super Champ Fender had done this way.

all the alphas 3/8 I buy have room to spare. hhhmmm? I think my chassis are the same thickness.

The 24mm Alpha pots have a 3/8" diameter bushing that is 1/4" long. Won't that work in a 1/8" thick panel and still allow for the nut and washer supplied?

I want to add a lockwasher to prevent rotation. Preferably the thick lockwashers that Fender uses. I see pictures of Bourns showing a longer bushing so I have ordered some.
