Title: Doug's Transformers
Post by: jeff on March 22, 2011, 10:30:41 am
It would be great if the transformers on Doug's site had specs. It's great if you have a Fender Bassman with a blown transformer you just look for a Fender Bassman transformer but if you're building from scratch it'd be nice to know the specs.(primary impedance on OTs, current rating and secondary windings on PTs)

Look at the top of the transformer page. There's a link to all the tech info and specs.

 Thanks, didn't see that.

I still don't see the primary on the Marshall 18 watt OT or the current ratings on the PT.

They work with a pair of EL84's.The current ratings are really nothing you need to worry about. If you plan on using it for something other than what it was designed for, then you have a problem.
I'm sure Doug would provide this information if you ask him.
His transformers are top quality.

I don't have the impedances
Mojo does not give that info out with their trannies.

All the other size, tube type info is on the web site.

18 watt stuff is for EL84's.
The trannies would have the same spec's as older trannies that are for EL84's
