Just completed this kit. BSIAB2 stands for Brown Sound In A Box version 2. This is a great pedal and will remain in use until I come across something better to replace it with. I have built numerous distortion pedals, preformed many modifications and had fun doing them but they away wind up on the shelf. This one is on the board. Some people have trophies on the shelf I keep pedals. Besides he who dies with the most pedals wins don't they. I keep telling my wife pedal building and modifications is an Olympic Sport.
Anyway the kit is an easy build, very good instructions, and sounds great. Paid 53.00 comes with all parts and enclosure. The contour know is a 3.00 upgrade but I think it is worth it as I have tried it both ways. It also has a voltage bleed off pot so you can really dial in your gain. So any of you DIY guys out there that like building pedals add this one to your list. I will post pic's later.

I bought the kit last summer just haven't built it yet. I'd love to see the pics. My first pedal build was their tube screamer. Turns out I don't like tube screamers much so maybe after I do some mods it'll become useful. Did you add the voltage bleed control or is that in the kit?

I have been slammed at work. I will get some pic's up this week.
This kit comes with the voltage bleed pot and it does make a substantial difference where you set it. I would get the one with the contour control though.
