Jimmy always had a unique take on the blues that I like.

Pretty cool Thackery video

Very nice playing!  I liked that alot.  He has some traditional and modern tone mixed in with it. Cool blend.

I had a chance to see Jimmy and Tab Benoit duel it out on a few tunes live. Great show & they sure seemed to enjoy one another's playing. Talk about an energized show.

Thanks for sharing that.  Tubenit

I saw him back in 97' or 98'. He evidently had been injured and we weren't sure he'd make the show that he was headlining, but sure enough, he took the stage with a full leg cast and leaned against a stool... He still rocked the place!

I have one of Jimmy's old VHS guitar lesson tapes.
He is a great teacher.

I learned alot from his tape.

Have one of his Cd's also which is great.
