Title: National Semiconductor Samples

I'm going to build this simple amp featured in MAKE http://makezine.com/23/chipamp/ (http://makezine.com/23/chipamp/)  All the electronics can be sourced through Radio Shack except the amp chips.  Went to source, National Semiconductor and found out that they only sell by large lots.  BUT you can get free samples for cost of shipping with a gmail address or free with .com address.  http://www.national.com/analog/amplifiers (http://www.national.com/analog/amplifiers)  So for $10 we get 4 amp chips.  Am posting in case others need small quantities and can source them there, for nominal cost or even free.  Did not know if forum is aware. Thus this post.

nice you got them free... digi-key has +/- 33000 in stock. 4 bux ea qty 1-24.
