Title: Silvertone 1432 / Tremelo Problem
Post by: plexi50 on May 13, 2011, 02:14:15 pm
Hey all! I have an old 1432 Silvertone and the Tremelo is not working. I have traced to a yellow wire from the EQ connector plug socket and up to the grids of the 6V6 power tubes. Then i have gone over to the two .01 caps which i think are the trem caps for speed and presence. The Intensity pot show voltage. The Speed pot is not functional. I can find no schematic anywhere but i think im close to figuring it out  :w2:.  Any ideas are welcome  :help:

Tubes are (1) 12AX7 - (1) 6AU6 - (2) 6V6 - (1) 5X4

Maybe try the 1482 schematic.  It uses the same trem tube.

Thankyou jjasilli! Got it working. Pics shows what was wrong. Nice trem and sweet sounding little amp. Neil Young
