Title: Substitutes for the 6SH7 (9 - 8 - 7 pin tubes) ?

Which tube can be used as substitutes for the 6SH7 ?

I mean a correspondent character tube don't mean necessary an 8 pin tube also 9 or 7 pin tubes

6SJ7 will work if you move a few wires, and you can get the shielded metal version.

6SH7 and 6AU6/EF94 are as near as two tubes can be.

Yesterday at a Flea Market I find no 6SH7 tubes but got one NOS NIB Tunsgram 6AU6 for € 5,00
