Title: Storage Life of Electrolytic Caps
Post by: hatchhh on June 10, 2011, 05:55:15 am
I have some Sprague Atoms that are about 4 years old.  Are these okay to put in an amp, or is there is a limit on how long these can sit around before you use them?

Thanks

I think you mean electrolytic capacitors

if so I think a 4 year storage don't damage the cap

may be you can consider to put it on work with a progressive voltage (gradually till work voltage) before the use
