Title: Just one question on my Champ AA764 home brew on the OT taps
Post by: catnine on June 29, 2011, 04:12:38 pm
The weber OT is like a Champ OT only is has two taps  a 4 ohm and 8 ohm . I have the NFB 2.7k ohm resister connected to the 4 ohm tap and the 8 ohm speaker to the 8 ohm tap I was told on this forum that that was ok because the feedback sees the tap and the end result would be the same. I did a seach here but the post goes back to far . Does this sound right ?

sounds right to me.The tap gets it's message back to the OT no matter what tap it's connected to.However, there may be a different effect if you hook it up to the 8 ohm tap.Good or bad,it will sound a bit different.
