Like 'Nit, I love British humor! Anything by Python, Red Dwarf, Tom Baker as Dr. Who, etc. My wife does not get it at all... But then my wife does not get the Stooges - there's no hope for her!

Very talented and funny, but you have to like British humor.

For me, the funniest show ever produced was Fawlty Towers with John Cleese. I absolutely loved every episode. The Adventures of Reginald Perrin was pretty good too.

I have all the Monte Python and Fawlty Towers on DVD
Love to go back and re-watch them all from time to time.
One of the funniest ever FT episodes is when the Germans stay at the hotel.

For slightly more obscure and subtle humor, I love "The Missionary" with Michael Palin and Maggy Smith. I was able to find the entire film on YouTube but didn't know if linking to it here would eat up resources.
Cheers,

OK, here's the link to "The Missionary" (part 1):
The Missionary (1982) [Pt 1/2] (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nMHr9YHkqAA#ws)
It's not as slap-stick funny as Monty Python's Flying Circus, but a perfect film for Michael Palin. Maggie Smith is wonderful as an aristocratic cougar of Victorian England.
BTW Handmade Films was George Harrison's production company IIRC.
Enjoy!
