Title: Reef Tank
Post by: jojokeo on July 31, 2011, 01:56:22 am
I've had this tank as a fresh water originally back in '80 and converted it to a salt tank w/ it in '88. In about the early '90's it evolved into a FOWLR system (fish only w/ live rock) and in '97 it became a full-on official reef tank. I've done countless DIY equipment projects on this over the years and there's nothing like saving money by making things yourself. This hobby can be expensive (BUT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE after the initial investment) and many local fish store owners won't think twice about taking your money and not giving you the right advice, afterall that's what keeps you coming back. If anyone has any questions regarding maintenance, problems, or equipment just ask. My info is free, experienced, unbiased, and free! :) Joe

Jojokeo has been a wealth of information for me as I have been fighting a big problem in my salt tank.  :icon_biggrin:

It's because of you that I decided to put up a couple of pictures and your suggestion that we get something like this up on here and see if others have something going on in the fishy world? BTW, is that tank settling down now?
