Title: AA371 Bassman bias mod
Post by: Mars-Hall on August 04, 2011, 05:08:19 pm
After reading about the bias mod procedures in the library, the circuit I'm working on has an anomaly not covered in the examples.  The AA371 Bassman circuit has .047uf caps instead of the .1uf for each side of the power section.  Do I need to change those .047uf caps to .1uf in order for the bias to adjust properly?

No,they will not have any effect on bias voltage, they are driveline coupling caps.

I answered my own question, that I orginally asked here, in this post, by reading the library.  What a wonderful source of information!  Wish I knew about it years ago.
