Title: pentode adapter for my triode comparison circuit.
Post by: terminalgs on August 11, 2011, 05:34:12 pm

from the tube comparison circuit (TCC) I  talked about here > http://www.el34world.com/Forum/index.php?topic=11698.msg108365#msg108365 (http://www.el34world.com/Forum/index.php?topic=11698.msg108365#msg108365),

I added a pentode 8N (6SJ7,6SK7) and 9CQ (EF86) test adapter that connects to the 8BD octal.  The 8BD supplies filaments, plate, grid, cathode from one of the sections in the 8BD,  and so the pentode can have a screen grid circuit,    B+ and ground are supplied via a DIN-6 plug back to the TCC.

It works great, I've tested a few 6SJ7's and an EF86.
