Title: Making out with Irene?

How's everyone doing on the East Coast? Where I'm at (Carroll County) we got by with a couple inches of rain and a bit of gusty wind. Very fortunate. Why, my notes didn't even blow off my bench out in the loafing shed! How about you all?

Up in Maine, got the couple inches of rain that NC and NJ didn't take, am waiting for gusts that at one time were predicted 67MPH, now predicted 55 (33 steady), and while it is blowing with vigor I don't think it will gust 50 here.

However one root-nicked tree is swaying toward my private power line.

My parents in Delaware, a "small" roof leak became a drywall collapse over their bed. In Yonkers my brother had to endure neighbors raking-up in undershorts. My other brother is in groceries and sold ALL his flashlights (and expects most to return on Monday).
