Hi Doug

can you consider to add more features to the search engine

(the search we can do for the thread in the forum)

it will be nice to be able

to sort result by date, author

to search only post started by one member

to search those were there is a specified argument and have answers from a specific member

and whatever you can think it will be useful to be easy in a search for a specified argument

Try the search at the top of the forum in the toolbar
It has a bunch more features than the one on the upper right

Now I've seen that the two options are different

I'll use the left one option instead of the right one

I can't really customize the searches, they are built into the forum software.

There may be better search mods that are available as add on packages?

You may add a Google option, TDPRI style. Good for your page ranking too...
