Hi everybody,
I am building a TOS. I finished the speaker cab for it and put up the pictures in the speaker section. Stingray 65 said I should post pictures of the building of the amp. I dimissed it at first because I didn't think I would have anything new to offer since I am a newby at amps. Is there any interest on the forum in such a thing? Perhaps another newby might get something from it. I am sure that I would get something out of it. I am sure you guys will be happy to point out my mistakes. :)

I think it would be neat to watch things come together. I know there has been a few threads in the past that did that.
-
Other newbies need help too, and some real good layout ideas come from inexperienced folks just following their gut.
Though I have always been too embarrassed to post pics of my rat's nests!
-
Pics are great and i know that i have been able to get a lot of ideas from them.

You never really get to satisfy your tube amp junkie craving until you post pics of your build
-
Yes, please post pictures. I like to see what others are doing with their layouts.
Thanks, Tubenit

SLW - Sure! We'd love to see your build progress. You never know what you might learn watching someone else's approach to putting an amp together.

Very nice Doug! I had no idea that we could do a slide show, let alone sound clips. Thanks so much!
Cheers,

I have 3 pedals now containing SLW boards...one even built by the man himself...and I love 'em. Could not recommend them enough. Look at it another way..if I can assemble one, anyone can ;)

I will start a new thread here and post pictures. I will post it in this area to start with. If the mods think it belongs in another area that is fine. It the end I will consolidate it and put it in a photo album. I have never done this before so bear with me. Progress may be slow at times but I will keep going.
Thanks for the kind words about my PCB's. It appreciate it. Stompboxes are a lot of fun in so many ways.

Please don't post your pictures here
Pages slide down the pike and no one looks at them again or rarely ever again
Pages and attachments in this board also get purged when they get old
In the media Library, the stuff stays put and is easy to find.

+1 - This is what got me started in electronics as I always wanted to build effects pedals and guitars since I was a high school kid. This caused me to learn to read schematics, make PCB's, build power supplies, etc...
Back in the day I had no idea that I'd actually be able to build amplifiers! On my very first layout I made for my first amp, I took a schematic and drew it all up as you would for a PCB for an effects pedal. After more research I realized that this wasn't such a good idea. :)
