Title: Rotary Z Selector Switch on BF Fender

Doing some work on a SF/BF Bassman head for a friend. I will be installing a 4, 8, 16, Ohm OT. I am wondering about the "best" way to implement this, with the rotary switch that Mr. Hoffman sells.
Is the, now defunct, Ground Switch a bad place to install the Z Switch.? Would that create any lead dress problems that you know of.?
Will the rotary switch fit side by side with the main speaker jack.? I could remove the Ext Jack, and install the Z Switch in that hole if it will fit next to the Main Jack.
Any of you guys install one of these Rotary Z Switches in a BF Fender Bassman Head.?

The body (round black plastic) of Doug's switch is 1 3/8" diameter. You may not have enough clearance to mount it on the back side of the chassis. If it will fit, the ext. spkr. jack hole would be a very logical place for it, provided it wont be too close to the spkr jack.

Perhaps I will just buy the switch and see what happens. If it does not fit into the back of the chassis, I could just use the Main and Ext jacks for the 8 and 16 Ohm taps, and safe-off the 4 Ohm.....or some variation there of.
Or I could add another Speaker Jack and have separate jacks for all 3 taps.
Whatever.....buy the rotary and see what happens I guess.....
