Title: Airline Model 8420 Schematics

Greetings,

I am seeking schematics for a Montgomery Ward (Airline) Guitar Amp Model 8420.  I am also trying to identify one unmarked tube.  I have identified the 12SJ7 and the 50L6GT but, can not read the remaining tube and the marking on the chassis is gone.  Help is appreciated.

Most likely a 35Z5.

You may not find a free schematic for that amp. Google turns up some leads but you have to pay about $7.

There are several similar amp schematics available (Kay, Harmony, Kent). It's such a simple circuit that just knowing the tube pin assignments will likely get it working for you. Shouldn't be too hard to draw the circuit just by looking at the chassis. We might be able to help with some high rez pics.
