I just got a Fender Blues Deluxe in this morning. I have completed many barley soldered connections. The worst one i have ever seen so far. After turning the amp on i can play for about 2 minutes lightly. Then make some strong power chords and the amp goes ballistic into what i belive is positive feedback. I looked at the schematic and V4 shows Blue from OT and V5 shows Brown from OT
Well i looked at the board and tube sockets and the wires are reversed. I am fixing to reverse them now and see if that cures it
The cover has never been off the amp as i had to literally pry it off (Snap,Crackle & Pop)
Reversed the OT wires and still have the same howling. Humm

Its sad when you see how down quality wise fender products have become. :help:

Yeah it is Tone Junkie. I found the real problem. V2 ribbon cable pin1 & pin 2 broke off and barley touching the tube socket board. When the 12" speaker rattled the cab it would fartout and howl real bad. Thats amp #3 today. Im done. I need a beer. I hate beer but it makes me think about it every now and then
