And I thought I was cool with the 8ft long Drag Strip with the clamp-on-the-counter gravity starter!

Man I wonder how much all that stuff cost? :l2: :l2: I had the early stuff and had a lot of fun with it, but this is unbelievable.

Some people never grow up!
Me included.
I kept thinking "man, this has to be a single father!"
JK.
Seriously, that is a long track.
I liked the swimming pool stretch.

It's trick photography!
He's only got about 10 feet of track.
If you notice he keeps using the same orange track over and over
:l2:
Like watching the chase scene in "Bullit" where the Mustang keeps passing the same green Beetle.
think of how many D size batteries for those boost things

He may have had 200 feet of track, but that was certainly multiple takes. I can't believe he has the 200 cameras (or so) it would take to do that in one take.

I played with Hot Wheels when I was a kid and it was virtually impossible to keep some of the cars on the track. Looks like the sides of the track rails are taller now. Often times the cars would lodge in the power stations. None the less, a fun video to watch and he appears to be raising money for a good cause.

That Dad has waaay too much time on his hands. I thought it was really cool when my neighbor and I combined our resources to get a track that went downstairs, through the kitchen and the back hallway, then into the dining room. Mom didn't think it was so cool though...
The "power stations" were just coming in when I was losing interest in Hot Wheels.
The used, $40 Sears go-kart with a 3 hp Briggs & Stratton engine and scrub brakes I bought with paper route money was SO MUCH more fun! It only went 17 mph when I bought it but could top 40 when I sold it years later :icon_biggrin:
