Title: Channel switching in a B.Face Twin Reverb clon
Post by: chocopower on November 20, 2011, 03:26:10 pm
Hi.

I friend is asking me for channel switching in his Twin Reverb.

I have some SPST relays and want use them for the job.
The "normal" channel imputs will be the imput for boths channels. From there, it will go to the relay common pin.
It switch betwen the 2 sides of the SPST sending the signal to the imput grid of V1 or V2.
ok. the question. Can i leave the "unused" channel without grid leak reference?
I supose that shouldnīt, but i like to ask...

If not. i suposse i should use DPDT relays to ground the grids...

thanks in advance and sorry for my english. I had some problems trying to puit in words my question..

thatīs right.

Grid and grid leak resistors before the relay area. I think i can do it with a simple DPDT relay.

thanks a lot!
