If you guys have a chance, check it out.
I am basically a day ahead of most folk. I got a really decent view this time.
The area I am located is known for star gazing; I see all kinds of stuff up there with the naked eye.
Unfortunately, I only have a pretty old digital camera.
At one point the moon went blood red.
I saw the moon early in the evening.
It was totally clear skies and very bright.
Later, I went outside, it was pretty dark, looked in the sky and thought "where in the heck is the..........holy cow!"

Yeah, that's the best I could do for a shot.

Kind of lucky here.
Where I am located is known as one of the best places in the country for star gazing.
There is a park not far from here that has a HUGE telescope and surrounding campground.
I am yet to go there for the night...on the "to do" list.
I lived in Seattle for a long time previous to this and rarely got to see the Sun!
