Title: Valco Supro
Post by: duke of earl on December 23, 2011, 07:50:19 pm
I was coming home the other night and found a guitar shop where you would never expect to find one. The only amp they had that interested me was a Valco Supro Trojan S6616 in excellent and original condition. I played it for an hour and a half and just had to bring it home. I've never owned or even played through a Valco before but man what a treat!

It is all original including tubes and power cord. I need to take pics this weekend and post them. Tolex and grillecloth look very good. Amp was cared for very well.

Don't know anything about that model, but I've always been a fan of Valco amps.  I built five clones of one model from about 1950.
