Title: Easily changed full wave bridge to hybrid recto?

Can one safely set up a changeable solid state full wave bridge/bridge tube recto hybrid in the following way?
Diodes (chassis grounded) and HV secondary on pins 4 and 6
5V heaters on pins 2 and 8
Diodes from pins 4 and 6 to pin 7 which is solid state b+
Insert tube recto and use pin 8 for hybrid b+, with diodes still connected to pin 7
connect to pin 8 for hybrid, pin 7 for SS

Yes that should work. Would have answered last night but was too sleepy to be sure.
