Well almost an even swap, I had to pay $50.00 boot. I found it in a pawn shop in like new condition.
I carried three electrics for possilbe trade and he liked the Epi Ebony LP Standard but it had a bad ding on the bottom edge or he would probably done an even swap.
I have a nice Tacoma with a preamp but it didn't have the preamp on top, with EQ, Volume and tuner like the Takamine---so you had to control the volume/eq on the mixer which made it inconvenient for making changes on stage. It's Got heavier strings than my Tacoma but the wear and tear on my fingers don't seem so bad when I hear that wonderful full sound coming back at me. Real happy with the Takamine. Platefire
BTW-This has to be an Itialian name "Takamine". If you haven't got a guitar of your own Tak-a-mine :l2:

Well I ordered one of those cheap musician Gear cases for 40 bucks and got it in yesterday. For an acoustic, I would prefer a hard case over a gig bag. Also changed the strings from Light to DAdderio Extra Light 12-47 and it seems to be taking them very well. The lesser tension allowed the action to come down a bit that was a little high with the lights. Lot easyer to do lead flat picking now. No fret buzzing so far, so maybe I will get by without a neck adjustment. Platefire
