I was wondering about the Traynor amp tonestacks and what they are called. I have not built an amp using the Traynor EQ wiring style
I think they sound great. All the controls actually ramp up or down pretty evenly and are very noticably nice. Especially the bass pot to me which is just perfect in response
Im thinking again :think1:

Which one?

Lets say the Guitar mate or YBA1,YSR1

The YBA1 looks just like a plexi. :icon_biggrin: Can't say about the others.

I just threw out the question without really looking at the schematics latley. Super long day and very tired. Hey i love thoses squirles you have. Real cute and friendly looking

Which one?
Ditto. They're all different. Recently I rebuilt an el84 bassmate. It was way to bright and I thought I cured that. But gigging with it, I've got bass on 10 and treble on -0-. Bumbling into the Adam's Amp tonestack site for an unrelated reason (and for the 4000th time), I noticed that this Traynor tonestack (which is different from the 6V6 version) closely resembles the Fender blonde Pro tonestack. So I'm about to pull the chassis (AGAIN) and rebuild the tonestack to Fender blonde Pro values, but with tone scaling, because the pot values are higher and I don't want to swap the pots (yet). OK, a bit stream of consciousness, but you get the point.
