Title: Service for Carvin PA in mid west

My apology if this is OT-
Carvin will service my PA1200 by replacement for $450.  Any suggestions for independent service for this unit in the mid west?

If you're near Cincinnati, Expert Electronics are best for any SS equipment. They've been around for many years (used to be Secret Service till the feds made them change it). Their address is:

I'm in Mason City, IA... but without more info I can't say for sure whether I can fix it or not.  Carvin isn't keen on handing out schematics on certain products that are under 10 years old.

Frank Rieman Music in Des Moines has a good repair shop for "all brands" as long as it still isn't under warranty, they would certainly do it.
