That's pretty cool.

The tail light would be cool for commuters

The front light comes from a very low angle and the tire blocks a bit of it
That may work ok for people riding on the road with skinny tires

You probably would have to have one on each side of the wheel for fat tire mountain bikes

Not sure how to get one up on top of your head,  :icon_biggrin:

With a wire.

Right now he's in "KickStart" mode. He wants to make a run of a simple popular model to start and grow the business. If it takes off, surely he will be looking for other versions, including high-light (separate rim-dynamo and lamp) and possibly a jack for hat-light (though sudden disconnect is an issue).

yeah, connected to the bike by a wire is a no go

Tried it, it is a major pain and can be dangerous
