I have a tube tester that is not very good. I need one that will test 7868, 6550, and ECC88(6DJ8) tubes. Any ideas? Will the EICO testers work for these tubes without guessing on switch postions? It would be great to have one that tests more that just emissions.

Any tubes tester can't really test tubes unless your tube are dead, no heater or short and you see that on your amp. Not enough voltage in tubes tester and not the proper load to test tube in "real life ".
Also no microphonic test avalaible.

I seem to recall I tested a few old ruby tube 6550's on my Eico 666.
What sort of tube tester do you have?
All tube testers have their shortcomings, most don't come close to testing under guitar amp conditions.
Basically they are good for telling you if there is a short, or it's bad, or ok.
Refer to this link (I'm sure you already have) for a bit about tube tester accuracy.
