Title: Single Ended Xformer
Post by: Jack1962 on March 18, 2012, 05:58:36 pm
I know this may be a stupid question , but it won't be my first on here lol
Can a output transformer from a single ended amp be used for a reverb transformer?

The reverb tranny IS a single ended OT.

It matches the 6K6 impedance (7.6k Z) to the tanks input impedance (8 Z).(vintage Fender example)

The same as it would in a SE amp like a Champ.

What tube are you driving the tank with, and what plate voltage, and what input impedance does your tank have?
