Title: Hoffman old AC30 WITH JJ 40 20 20 20 CAN CAP

After building my AC 30 "HOFFMAN OLD LAYOUT"...I have an extra lobe( 20 uf ) left open in the amp...I connected a wire from the 40 uF lobe...(choke entrance)...is this OK?...or...should I just leave it open?...thanks in advace...Frank.

ALSO...can I jumper the CUT CONTROL CAP...AND MAKE THAT INTO A MASTER VOLUME WITHOUT DAMAGING ANYTHING?

Yes, you can jump the Tone Cut Cap and have a MV

only at the moment I  don't remember if the value of the existing pot is adequate for a MV

Thanx for response...the tone pot value = 250 ka...the tone cap = .0047uf
