this may be the best tone I've heard Eric have in a live version. He plays for 5 minutes before starting the song. :icon_biggrin:

Always amazing. What happens when raw talent meets hard work.
Plus, I have it on good authority that he plays through a Boss Delay with the settings on 12. :icon_biggrin:

Wow, that was great!
Thanks for posting that

I was only watching Eric playing this song from the Live From Austin Texas DVD this morning (20 years before this perfomance). Eric's playing never gets old (and apart from the haircut neither does HE by the looks of it!)
Love SG's, love Eric's playing. Thanks for posting.

Lots o tones there.
The harmonics were crazy good.

Rob,
Do you have DVD's in Australia? Are you sure it wasn't in VHS or Beta? :icon_biggrin: I love SG's too. Just goes to show you don't need the newest 8 string flavor of the month with five different custom pickups with coil taps and phase switches to be a great player. He has such great phrasing that it doesn't sound like a technical exercise. Lots of simple two finger runs there too - at least he makes it look simple!!
