Title: Merlin's books
Post by: bruno on April 17, 2012, 03:02:57 am
So a friend of mine, and amp enthusiast went and bought me both Merlin books as a gift... I started reading the preamp design book, I'm really enjoying it. Right from the start, important concepts, that I used to read about but never grasped are easily explained and I find myself going like "Ahhh so that's what it was all about" very often.

Thank for recommending the book guys.

I've got the Preamp book.. I liked it and I use it for reference.

Off topic: Google spell checker does not recognize 'Preamp'. Tells you it's misspelled but offers nothing that helps.

I like Merlin's books a lot as well.

Not to dwell on the off topic, but to LC's point, I've noticed many spell checkers don't like pentode, triode, or reverb!  But what do you expect?  They were written by guys in Silicon Valley!

I think you meant "written by 'geeks' in Silicon Valley!" :-)
