Pulled one of these switches out of my bin.
With a meter, I cannot tell the difference between this and a "regular" SPDT switch.
Toggle up and one lead has continuity to the center conductor, toggle down and you have the opposite condition.
Obviously I am missing something. So what is a On-none-On switch.?
Thank You

Check this out: http://www.nkkswitches.com/pdf/M2toggles.pdf (http://www.nkkswitches.com/pdf/M2toggles.pdf)
A double pole SW may have a Center OFF position; if so, then it's ON -OFF- ON. If not, then it's ON -None- ON: indicating that there's No Center position.
EDIT: There are also DPDT Center ON switches: http://www.1728.org/guitar.htm (http://www.1728.org/guitar.htm)

OK....sorry.
Did not realize it was a literal term.
Guess I am just use to a SPDT not having a center position unless it says OFF.
My mistake.
Thank You
