Theses silverface bassman heads are common and inexpensive.  They are a great platform for modding --I would keep the box, chassis, and transformers only and then make a new board.  These have the AB 165 circuit -- its sounds just OK as is.  You can build a better sounding amp yourself.  If you are thinking about it -- shop it out for a while--the price is a little high.  Jim

+1 Jim ,  too bad those master- volume Silverface. Price is too high IMO
